Meet LympheDIVAs Operations Manager Denis Guyer

February 21, 2019

Introducing a LympheDIVAs Operations Manager Denis Guyer!

How long have you worked at LympheDIVAs?

Almost 2 years

What does your job entail, what’s your typical day like?

I oversee our Production and Customer Support Teams which is great because I get to be involved with actually making our garments and being on the production floor as well as interacting with customers and hearing about how our products have often improved their lives. Knowing this gives me tremendous job satisfaction. As Operations Manager I am involved with a little bit of almost everything here from HR to the shipping of our products out the door.

Favorite LympheDIVAs memory:

My first day. To lead the team, I had to learn every aspect of what each employee does here. In production, I made many mistakes on that first day but I also learned how much effort, care, and quality goes into making our garments. And, I saw firsthand the talented team that we have working here that I am a part of.

What’s a common question you get?

The most common question I get asked from customers is; How we are able to make such beautiful patterns but on a garment that is light and still provides great compression? I answer that we have a team here which thrives on ingenuity and is always searching for ways to make our products even better!

What do you like most about your job?

I think the thing I like most about my job is knowing that we are manufacturing high-quality products in America that have a very positive impact on our customers.

Where are you from?

I was born in Pittsfield - the company's current location!

What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

When I am not working I love to spend time outdoors here in the Berkshires with my wife, Melissa, and my three boys: John and William (6) and Charlie (15) we ski, hike and kayak together. I am also a Ski Instructor at a nearby ski resort during the winter!

Fun fact: A fun fact about me is that I have a special talent of being able to balance a stack of quarters on a bent elbow and then swing my arm and hand really fast to catch them in mid-air! I have won a lot of money off of friends doing this trick :-)
